Proposed Ordinance Amendments

Below are proposed ordinance amendments that are scheduled to be heard at the next regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Meeting and the subsequent City Council Meetings.

Max Height Amendment:

To encourage economic growth and maximize use of limited land, the proposed amendment increases the height of properties zoned commercial from 35' to 55'. 

 

Alcohol Table of Use:

To ensure compliance with TABC regulations and for ease of application, the proposed amendment creates a table indicating exactly what TABC permits are allowed in each commercial zoning category. This amendment is specifically for zoning related matters only, all other ordinances and regulations will still be enforced prior to obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy for any business which may serve alcohol.
