Annual TCEQ Water Quality Report

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires all public water systems to provide a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to their customers annually. This report, also known as a Water Quality Report, ensures transparency by summarizing the quality of drinking water, including details on any contaminants detected, their potential health effects, and the source of the water supply.

The TCEQ reuquires every community public water system must distribute the CCR by July 1st each year, 30 TAC §290.271(a), which includes information from the previous calendar year. The TCEQ oversees compliance with this federal requirement under the Safe Drinking Water Act to protect public health, helping consumers stay informed about the safety and reliability of their drinking water.
